We are looking forward to seeing all of our Erin Eagles back at school (or online for those students participating in our online program) on Tuesday, September 6.

A reminder that our bell times are 8:55 – 3:15.

Students are asked to come to the back tarmac when they arrive at school or off the bus and find a staff member to find out which class they are going to be in.  Teachers will have their name and grade posted on a sign on the school walls so students know where to line up.

Please remember to bring indoor shoes to change into as well as a refillable water bottle and pencil case with pencils, erasers, and crayons, pencil crayons or markers.  Our Grade 7 & 8 students are asked to be bring a combination lock for their lockers.

Any other school supplies, if needed, will be communicated by individual teachers during the first few days.

For our remote student community:

As noted in the spring there have been some changes to the Elementary Remote Program. For the most part, these changes will not impact the day-to-day learning of your child(ren). The most noteworthy change is the Day Schedule, which is now 8:55am – 3:15pm, with two nutritional breaks throughout the day. This change was necessary to align Erin remote and Erin in-person learning with a balanced school day.

With remote learning transitioning to Erin Public School we hope to maintain the best qualities of the past two years, but we are also excited about the possibility of new unique learning opportunities that could come from a physical school building.

Teachers will be receiving class lists tomorrow (September 1) and will be in contact with families before the first day of school (Tuesday, September 6th, 2022). If you have any other questions please wait until after you have heard from your child’s teacher, and then please reach out to them directly.

We encourage consistent communication with your child’s teacher throughout the year, as you are mutual partners in their learning.

Mr. Coutu (Vice Principal) and myself (Ms. Coulombe or Ms. C) look forward to meeting everyone (virtually and/or in person) and being a part of the Erin Eagles learning community.
