Information about positive COVID-19 case in our school community (Oct. 18, 2021)

Dear parents/guardians and staff,
Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health has notified us today that an individual at Erin Public School has tested positive for COVID-19 and that this individual was at school during their infectious period. Public Health has determined that 10 days have passed since the positive case and there is no requirement for individuals to isolate.
As a result, WDG Public Health has provided communication to the individual, with direction for them to go for testing and to continue monitoring for symptoms.
We will continue to follow the protocols provided through WDG Public Health to support a safe and healthy learning environment. We would also ask that families continue to monitor your personal health and complete the self screening tool each day before leaving for school. COVID-19 School and Child Care Screening Tool
