Safe Access to Schools During Construction

Dear parents and guardians,

Please see below for updates to safe access to our school during the construction in Erin.

The Transportation Consortium is working diligently to ensure that buses have safe access to our school during the construction and we recognize that there may be some delays during the construction process. We will keep families updated and informed should there be significant changes to the timing of routes.  

For pedestrian traffic including students walking to school, please ensure that you review the status of your walking route to school regularly. As construction progresses updates will also be provided to advise of any routes that may be temporarily inaccessible.

More information for Erin PS:

  • Bus Access: Buses have open access to the school site during construction. 
  • Pedestrian Access: Sidewalk access on Daniel Street and English Street
  • Car Drop Off: Erindale Dr (students can walk across the school field from the opening in the fence) or be dropped off on Daniel Street or surrounding side streets and walk to the school
