Library Learning Commons Update
The Forest of Reading program continues!
Students are excited by the exceptional collections of Canadian titles in this year’s reading program, and voting takes place at the end of April. Classes from Kindergarten to Grade 2 are enjoying Blue Spruce nominated picture books as class read alouds, and students in Grade 3 and up have the opportunity to read titles individually, in the Silver Birch and Red Maple fiction programs, and the Silver Birch express and Yellow Cedar nonfiction collections. A field trip to The Bookshelf located in downtown Guelph is currently being organized to celebrate Canadian authors and those students who participated in the program by reading at least 5 book choices will be eligible to attend. More information will be available soon.

Dear Kortright Hills Public School Families,
As we step into the blossoming month of March, we have some exciting updates and events to share with our wonderful Cobra community. Please take a moment to read through the latest happenings:
- No March Meeting, Next Meeting on April 15th! 🗓️
Please note that there will be no School Council meeting in March. Our next meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 15th, in the school library. The meeting will commence at 6:30 pm, preceded by a social meet and greet at 6:15 pm. We look forward to seeing you there for an evening of camaraderie and collaboration!

Get ready for an exciting fundraiser coming your way after March Break! We will be launching sales of first aid kits from a Canadian company, starting at just $5. Profits from this initiative will contribute to our multi-year goal of outdoor play renovations. Stay tuned for more details! Students will have the opportunity to unlock special school days and events based on their collective sales. Let’s make a positive impact together!

Mark your calendars for KHNG’s Easter Eggstravaganza on March 23rd, taking place in the school gym. It promises to be an egg-citing event for the whole family. Don’t miss out on the fun-filled activities and celebrations!
