National Week of Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day
Next week our students will be learning about the history of residential schools in an age-appropriate way. We also encourage everyone to wear orange on Friday to honour residential school survivors for Orange Shirt Day. For many adults, this is history we didn’t learn when we were in school. Here are some recommended resources for you to learn more about how to discuss this challenging and important topic with your children:
