Due to inclement weather, UGDSB schools and offices in Division/Zone 3 (North Wellington) are closed today to staff and students. Students are to shift to remote learning, where possible. Staff should not report to work in person, and should shift to remote working where possible. All buses and taxis are cancelled to those affected schools.

We’re only a few weeks away from February, which is Black History Month. Black History Month is a time when people across Canada learn about and honour the history, achievements, and contributions of Black Canadians and their communities. Throughout the month, we will celebrate Black excellence, learn from history, and reflect on how we can continue to act, today and into the future. We’ll start with a look at the Canadian perspective, then throughout February we’ll dig into the work being done in the UGDSB.
