January 9 - 10:30 AM:

Dear Salem Families,

We are pleased to confirm that the sewage issue experienced yesterday has been fully resolved, and the school is open and fully operational this morning.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and support as we worked with the township to address the situation.

We are pleased to report that the school day is proceeding as usual.

January 8 - 2:45 PM:

Thank you for your quick response this afternoon and for picking up your child(ren) so promptly. The township is continuing to work on resolving the sewage issue, and we appreciate your patience as they complete the necessary repairs.

At this time, we are planning to reopen the school tomorrow. If the issue is not fully resolved by tomorrow morning, we will have portable toilets and handwashing stations (if needed) on site to ensure students remain comfortable and our day can continue safely.

Thank you again for your understanding and partnership.

January 8 - 12:30 PM:

Dear Salem Families,

We want to make you aware that we are currently experiencing an issue with our sewage system, which is temporarily preventing us from flushing toilets.

Out of an abundance of caution and to ensure students remain comfortable, we are asking families to pick up their children as soon as they are able.

All students are safe, supervised, and well‑supported in the building while we work through this situation.

We will continue to update you throughout the day. Thank you for your understanding and partnership as we address the issue.
