Physical Education teachers, Mr. Drost, Ms. Kosempel, and Mr. McFarlane, handed out Athletic Awards to Wolverine students at Wellington Heights at the Year-End Assembly on June 16th.
There were 15 recipients of the All Star & Coaches' Recognition Awards for 2024-2025, with one recipient for each sport being recognized.
Athletes Of The Year for the 2024-2025 varsity sports season were announced. The winners were C. Widmeyer - Jr. Girls Athlete Of The Year; A. Wollis - Jr. Boys Athlete Of The Year; E. Lillico - Sr. Girls Athlete Of The Year; and C. Troyer - Sr. Boys Athlete Of The Year.
There was also a presentation of the Gold Medal Banner to the winners of the Provincial Special Olympics Bocce Championship.
