REVISED EXAM SCHEDULE
Due to inclement weather impacting Wellington Heights, the Board has revised the exam schedule as outlined below. Given the number of weather-related disruptions, the following adjustments apply only to WHSS and five other UGDSB schools.
Revised Exam Days
Exam Day 1 – Wednesday, January 28
Exam Day 2 – Thursday, January 29
Exam Day 3 & Exam Day 4 – Friday, January 30
Exam Day 3: Friday morning (9:30 a.m. start)
Exam Day 4: Friday afternoon (12:45 p.m. start)
Grade 9 Students
Students enrolled in Grade 9 Math will continue to write the EQAO Math Exam as previously scheduled during their MTH1W exam day.
All other Grade 9 Semester 1 exams are cancelled. Final marks will be based on term work and culminating activities.
The Math Support Program will still be offered for all Grade 9 Math students who are interested in attending on Exam Day 1 (12pm-4pm) and Exam Day 2 (12pm-4pm) in Room 107 in order to practise and prepare for EQAO.
Grades 10–12 Students
To accommodate two exams in one day, exams for Grades 10, 11, and 12 will be adjusted to a maximum length of 1.5 hours. Teachers will use professional judgment to make appropriate adjustments while maintaining the integrity of each assessment.
