Grade 11 student, C. Thompson, performed exceedingly well at the USA Track & Field Youth National Indoor Championships held on March 20-22, 2026 at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, New York. Thompson attended the meet with his Flying Angels Track Club from Toronto. He finished 2nd in the 200 metre and 400 metre races, and finished 4th on the list of all time for the fastest pace record in the 400 metres for the Flying Angels Track Club. Although pleased with his results, Thompson maintained that he is capable of running even faster, and he will continue to train in anticipation of the WHSS Track & Field season ahead.
