The second annual juried INSIGHTS student exhibition opened Thursday May 28th at the Wellington County Museum in Fergus. 114 students from the 11 high schools in the UGDSB submitted works for consideration. The works of five WHSS students was chosen: O. Holland (10) Birds of a Feather; E. Stovel (9) Happy Hour Harbinger; A. Forsey (12) The Door at the End of the Hall; V. McEwan Hosken (10) Oh.; and E. Capell (12) Who? Hugh? Head of Arts, Ms. McEwan, stated, "We are ridiculously proud of our students for even being brave enough to put their work out there this way and the fact that our little school takes 20% of the show." Holland was recognized at the opening with an Emerging Artist Award. The show will be on display at the Museum until September 20, 2026.
