Wellington Heights will be hosting its Grade 9 Orientation Day for all incoming Grade 9 students on Tuesday, September 1st at the school from 8:55 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. Grade 9 students should arrive at the school between 8:45 a.m. and 8:55 a.m. There will also be an informational meeting for all parents and guardians of Grade 9 students on the same day, beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the school cafetorium.
Grade 9 students will have the opportunity to tour the school, to meet other incoming Grade 9 students, to connect with some of their teachers, to ask questions of senior student LINK Crew mentors, to receive their timetables, and to participate in team-building games and activities with other Grade 9 students. Programming will end with a free BBQ lunch, including options for students who have gluten-free or vegetarian diets.
Students are reminded to bring their completed and signed permission forms for Grade 9 Camp, and parents and guardians should plan to pick up their students between 12:45 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. We are looking forward to welcoming our new Wolverine students on September 1st!
