Classroom visits
Mr. Timberlake is visiting all grade 11 and 12 homeroom classes over the first two weeks of school to share pathway and graduation information with them including:

College Fair
Forms have been made available to grade 12 students (grade 11 students if there is room) to attend this year's college fair. The fair is a great opportunity for students to initiate conversations with interested schools or find out more information about programs of interest. The fair is at Conestoga College and it takes place Thursday September 24th. Forms are due ASAP.
University Fair
Forms have been made available to grade 12 students (grade 11 students if there is room) to attend this year's university fair. The fair is a great opportunity for students to initiate conversations with interested schools or find out more information about programs of interest. The fair is at the University of Guelph’s Athletic Centre and it takes place Tuesday, September 22nd. Forms are due ASAP.
Individual Grade 12 Meetings
During October and November guidance staff will meet with all grade 12 students for an individual opportunity to connect about graduation and their post-graduation plans.
Special Education staff will also be meeting with students with Individual Education Plans to fine tune any accommodations and help investigate post-secondary supports (https://www.transitionresourceguide.ca/)
College and University Open Houses
Colleges and universities are hosting open house events throughout the months of September to November. This can provide opportunities for families to meet faculty, tour campus, and learn about individual programs. To assist in planning visits, we have put together dates and links to all school open houses. Please check individual school websites for registration and date/time confirmation:

Parent/Guardian Information Night
Please join us on Tuesday October 20th, the same evening as parent-teacher conferences, for an information session about post-secondary information! Our session will be held in the Learning Commons at 6:45pm.
