Victoria Terrace Supports the Live Free from Hunger Campaign
Victoria Terrace is very grateful to have had the support of the Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington County. Thanks to contributions from the Food and Friends program, we can buy healthy snacks for our students. A variety of healthy snacks are available to anyone who wants it, 5 days a week. In January 2024, our school provided 3345 snacks to 197 students!
We are proud to announce that Victoria Terrace’s Live Free day is Thursday, February 8. Our goal this year is to raise $500 to support our Snack Program. 100% of the money donated will stay at the school to be used to feed our students.
We would appreciate it if each student could donate $2 on Live Free Day. School Cash Online is also available for donations.
Live Free Day is a celebration of our community. This year, we will celebrate by reading together with our Reading Buddies. This special ‘Cozy Up and Read’ time will remind students of the importance of coming together to promote sharing and good will.
