Welcome Back, Arbour Vista families!

We hope you enjoyed some downtime with family and friends over the holidays. Merry Christmas and Happy Kwanzaa to those who celebrated over the break. New Year’s is always a refreshing time of year. Students are into school routines and have established friendships with their classmates. It’s great to be back, and I look forward to reconnecting with students this week.

Faith Days During January

Acknowledging and celebrating days of faith is an important aspect of many religious traditions and cultures. Different faiths have their own holy days, festivals, and observances that hold significance for their followers. During the month of January, please see the days that will be acknowledged and celebrated by some members of our school community. Please note that there is diversity within faith communities and that no one list can represent all faith traditions or observances.

January 5 Birth of Guru Gobind Singh Sikhism
January 7 Feast of the Nativity Christianity (Orthodox)
January 14 Makar Sankranti Hinduism

Have a great week!

Mme Hare
