From the Principal’s Desk – February 12, 2024

Posted February 12, 2024

Hello Arbour Vista Families,

Thank you for your help in making the morning entry much smoother.  We have a decreased number of people dropping students off in the bus lane and on the side of the road. Thank you for your ongoing support.

Mother Nature is undecided if it is Winter or Spring. As a result our field is quite muddy. If your child has a propensity of finding mud, please ensure that they have a change of clothing at school, to avoid unnecessary calls home.

New Speed Camera Coming!

Please make note of the signage indicating “Municipal Speed Camera Coming Soon”, in front of the school. The city of Guelph informed us that a camera will be installed and will issue tickets to anyone speeding. It is important to note that the school is located in a 30 km/hr zone.

Bussing

As many of you are aware, Student Transportation has been experiencing an increased shortage of drivers. This may impact student drop off and pick up times. We inform families about late buses as soon as they are posted. Please note that this is beyond our scope of control. Please ensure you have registered for notifications from Wellington-Dufferin Student Transportation Services.
