At the Upper Grand District School Board, we value mentally healthy schools, classrooms and work sites. This year, in order to further help support the mental health and well-being of UGDSB students and staff, we are introducing The Umbrella Project to schools and offices.
The Everyday Hero Awards Selection Committee chose nine finalists from a group of deserving nominees. This year’s Everyday Hero Awards recipients include dedicated school and board staff, a student and volunteers.
Due to ongoing restrictions with respect to large gatherings, it will not be possible for schools to hold commencement ceremonies this fall.
The UGDSB would like to remind all parents that they have an important role to play in preventing COVID-19 in our schools.
