To: Drayton Heights Public School
Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health has declared the COVID-19 outbreak at Drayton Heights Public School over based on the direction provided by the Ministry of Health:
• At least 14 days have passed with no transmission of COVID-19 that is related to exposures in the school; AND
• There are no additional ill individuals associated with the cohorts/classes who were exposed to COVID-19 who are waiting for test results
There is currently no additional risk of COVID-19 transmission within the school beyond the general community risk of COVID-19. Staff and students should continue to monitor for symptoms of COVID-19. If symptoms develop, please stay home and seek COVID-19 testing or follow the guidance from the COVID-19 School and Child Care Screening tool.
