The Ministry of Education is encouraging Ontario School Councils to have more input into the school community. We have 4 scheduled meetings per year, but can schedule more as needed. Attending School Council meetings is a great way for parents/guardians to connect with the school, keep informed and share their ideas. For the 2020-2021 school year, all meetings will be virtual. Meeting Links will be posted on the website 30 minutes before the start of each meeting.

What we discuss at School Council:
- School Calendar – happenings in the school: who/what/where/when/why??
- Communication between school staff and School Council
- Issues: playground, scheduling, school routines, staff changes
- Feedback regarding standardized testing results ( i.e., EQAO)
- School needs
Where the fundraising dollars go:
- Health and Wellness
- Educational Resources
If you are unable to attend, please provide us with your comments and concerns regarding any of the above mentioned items or feel free to contact the school or a School Council Member.
