Welcome introduction!
Great start to the new year, other than with changing numbers the school board reevaluated numbers and some changes were made.
What does that mean?
● In May/June, classes are made based on current registration
● Second day of school, confirm who actually came to school and send to board office
● Need to be compliant with ministry standards
● Drayton Heights lost 24 students which equates to one primary class
School Qualities to focus on this year:
1) Inclusive (Owls to be handed out when showing inclusivity on the playground or in the classroom)
2) Resilient
3) Collaborate
4) Respectful
5) Integrity
Open House: Tuesday September 26, 2023 5-630pm
Terry Fox event: September 22, 2023 – more information to come
Money for outdoor playgrounds- Garden panels in need of repair, it is not safe right now.
Motion to repair Meagan seconded by Rebecca.
Weekly Friday report by Principal and vice Principal and will continue for the year.
Pick up and drop off: Park at the church, kiss and drop at the loop.
Lost and Found: Change room is full of lost and found, garment rack has been purchased and items will be hung up. Monthly pictures will be taken and sent via the Friday email.

Thank you parents for getting students ready for a good start at school this year!
Students coming off the bus can now play until the bell rings and then the students must line up. Book Fair coming up: Next week

Katy motioned to purchase coffee and donuts for both World Teacher and ECE day, Amy seconded.
