Bullying Prevention and Awareness Week
ERAMOSA WAS DECKED OUT IN PINK TODAY!
A group of eager Grade 6 Leadership team members organized an assembly today to honour Bullying Prevention and Awareness week at Eramosa PS.
11 + Students shared information with students and staff about what bullying is, how it is different than conflict, the different types of bullying and how it can be stopped. They also talked about what a bystander can do to help stop bullying when they see it.
After that important message we watched a video created by students in another UGDSB school that shared a strong message about what bullying is and why people who are bullied need to get help.
Students from JK to 6 then broke off into multi-grade teams and went to their designated classrooms to meet, read a story about how to find to help when being bullied and to share their experiences and ideas around bullying.
