Parking Lot and Student Safety
Hello everyone,
This is a very important reminder about the parking lot and student safety. Please make sure to share this message with all parents/guardians in the house as not everyone is subscribed to the e-mail list and may not receive this information directly. If you have family or friends who drop off/pick up your children, please also share this message with them.
In the past 5 months, we have had at least 3 near misses in the parking lot. Student safety is our number one priority. Please review the attached map. It identifies the correct location to park and the safest pathway for students to take as they travel from the parking lot to the yard. The map is also posted on our website.
If you are pulling up to the school to let your child out, please have them exit the passenger side of the vehicle. The driver side of the vehicle has them entering into the middle of the parking lot and the pathway that other vehicles are using to turn left as they leave the school.
