Eramosa Tech Needs Your Help!
Eramosa PS offers a wonderful environment for learning. We have lovely grounds, forests and the nicest outdoor classroom to explore and grow creative minds. We have dedicated and supportive staff who love their job of teaching your kin. What we lack is technology to keep pace with our ever-changing world.
Eramosa currently has a total of 64 Chromebooks for student and staff use. As of June 2021, 45 of them will be past their Auto Update Expiry (AUE). What this means is as of the end of this school year, 45 of our Chromebooks will no longer be updated and will eventually become obsolete. By the end of the following school year 16 more will be past their AUE. This is very worrisome as our technology refresh funds only allow us to purchase 9 new Chromebooks this year.
Eramosa PS needs your help to purchase more Chromebooks! Please see the attached donation form to make a contribution to the Upper Grand Learning Foundation. Your support will be directed to the Eramosa PS Tech fund and will be able to be accessed immediately for use. Any donations over $20 will receive a charitable donation tax receipt. Please help us continue to support your kin by adding technology to their learning. Just click on the link below.
