Remembrance Day
We are getting ready this week to provide and excellent experience for children. This is Veterans Week and classes have been talking about why we observe this week and also have a service on Remembrance Day.
This year we are offering a virtual service for all children. Every class is preparing for their part in it. Since we are not yet able to gather together in the gym, we will be broadcasting from every class into an online assembly.
This is new territory for us, but we are being ably led by Mrs. Semanyk. I commend all of the children and staff for their parts in making this a possibility for our school community.
With what we learn from this experience, we hope to offer an online holiday assembly to the parent community as we approach the Winter Break. My guess is that it would need to be a recorded experience to avoid overloading our somewhat limited bandwidth. We will keep you posted about that.
