Earth Day Assembly
Please join us in the gym for our Earth Day Assembly on Wednesday April 24th @ 1:50.
We will be unveiling our Collaborative Art Project! Using recycled materials, each class has made a piece of art. We’ll put all the pieces together together to form a beautiful school mural.
Waste- Free Lunch Day!
On April 24, our school is also holding a Waste-Free Lunch Day. Staff and students are challenged to bring a lunch that produces no waste (i.e., no wrappers, straws, etc). This is a board-wide initiative and we know James McQueen families have had extra practice with Boomerang Lunches!
We are encouraging all families to think about your habits at home and explore how you can reduce food and packaging waste.
