Police presence in UGDSB schools
On Tuesday Oct. 20 from 6:30-7:30pm, the board will hold a virtual town hall where participants can provide their input regarding the presence of police in UGDSB schools. The board will be asking participants to provide their input on the role of police in UGDSB schools and the impact of police in schools on the school community. An additional question requesting one or two points for consideration for recommendations on police presence in UGDSB schools will also be asked.
The board will also launch a survey for those who were unable to join the town hall, asking survey participants the same questions posed to town hall participants. A link to this survey will be posted on the board and school websites following the town hall.
