Water/Rink Safety

Dear Families,

Here is a letter from our local OPP:

Hello all,

Could you please share the following safety message with your staff and students? Our priority is to keep your students safe even when they can’t physically be in school.

The County is asking the public to stay off of storm water facilities. These are not safe for recreational use. The following outdoor rinks are available for use:

·         Belwood Ball Diamond (4 Smith Street, Belwood)  (Currently open, capacity 10)

·         Bissell Park (127 East Mill St., Elora)  (Currently open, capacity 10)

·         Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex (550 Belsyde Ave., Fergus) (Currently closed,  capacity 10)

·         Elora Community Centre (29 David St. W., Elora)  (Currently open, capacity 20)

·         Tye Ball Diamond (St. David Street & Albert Street, Fergus)  (Currently closed, capacity 20)
