The event will feature Round Table discussions on a variety of topics including the role of Chair/Co-chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Community Building and Fundraising. The UGDSB’s Parent Involvement Committee is a link between our parent communities and our school board.The PIC’s mandate is to increase and encourage parent engagement in our local schools which in turn improves student achievement.

ACTION 2: We are still looking for volunteers from School Councils to facilitate some of the sessions listed at the link above. If you have members of your council you think who would do a great job of leading a small group discussion on these topics, please bring this opportunity to their attention and invite them to email [email protected] to indicate their interest.
