We are excited to announce the return of an in-person EmpoWErment Day.
Empowerment Day brings together students in gr. 5-8 from UGDSB to hear the inspirational stories of world-renowned motivational speakers, presenters, and performers. Through this experience, students from UGDSB will hear how they can make a positive difference in their communities, and beyond.
On May 4, JD Hogarth will be taking students from gr. 6-8 to hear the stories of Spencer West, Clara Hughes and Michel Chikwanine as well as a performance from Choir! Choir! Choir!
Students have the opportunity to purchase Empowerment Day gear to help commemorate the day. Please note there is no obligation to purchase items. Our plan for future years will be to offer Empowerment Day gear every other year.
