On Thursday February 8th, the John F Ross guidance team will be making presentations about course selection and pathway planning.  Course selection is due for all students on February 20th.

At 6 pm, parents who have a student in Gr 9 are invited to join us in ELFox to listen to information regarding choices that need to be made for next year and the implications of those course selection choices on future post secondary studies.

Then at 7:15 we invite parents who have a student currently in Grade 11 to listen to a presentation about course selection and pathway planning, while also giving additional information on research considerations for post secondary.

There will be a brief opportunity to ask counselors questions after the presentation.  Students  heard the pathways portion of the presentation in December and next week counselors will be visiting gr 9-11 classrooms to help students select their classes for next year.  It is important that students choose right the first time and get their selections in on time.  Thank you for having conversations with them at home regarding course selection and the best next steps based on their plans.
