GRADE 8 COURSE SELECTION
January brings Course selection for our Grade 8 students as we plan and prepare to help them transition to their “next chapter”. This is both a stressful and exciting time for students.
Please ensure you have completed the HighSchool destination survey and advise your child’s homeroom teacher of any changes: JMC Student Secondary School Destination Survey 2023-24
Please see the attached slide show presentation that includes a variety of information related to grade 8 transition to high school and is targeted towards parents and caregivers. Parent/Caregiver Guide to support Student Transition from 8-9
All course selection is done online through my Blueprint, which can be located on the UGDSB Student Landing Page.

Lost and Found
When you are in the school, please make a point of checking out our lost and found which is located in the front foyer of the school.
Classroom teachers take their students to retrieve items on a regular basis.
At the end of the month, items are donated to non-profit organizations (Hope House, Women’s crisis center). M. Ellis
