Robocall
A phone call went out today from the school with the following message (in case you missed the call):
Good morning Jaguar families,
This is Amanda Myer calling from John Galt. I wanted to send a quick note with a few updates. First of all thank you for your continued support as we navigate this school year and especially after these last few days and working through our first COVID cases of the year.
I want to make sure that all parents are aware that I send regular email updates throughout the year and especially if there is a COVID case in our school. If you are not getting emails from the school please make sure we have an updated email on our system.
Secondly, a reminder that COVID protocols have changed and if your child has just one COVID symptom they need to stay home. In order for them to return to school all the following need to be met: they have a negative covid test, be symptom free for 24 hours AND be able to pass the online screening tool OR they self isolate for 14 days, be symptom free for 24 hours and be able to pass the online screening tool OR a health care provider has provided a diagnosis that isn’t COVID related and they are 24 hours symptom free. At the same time siblings and all household members should be self isolating until the criteria to return have been met.
