A Quick Guide to Ramadan - UBC Equity & Inclusion Office

From the evening of March 22 until the evening of April 20 this year, muslims will be celebrating Ramadan. During this time, Muslims around the world will be fasting from sunrise to sunset to show their religious faith.

At the end of each day, they celebrate by having a meal called an iftar. The end of Ramadan is called Eid, and is a time when fasting ends and a large feast and celebration is held.

As a school community, we would like to wish all of our families observing  Ramadan Mubarak &  Ramadan Kareem!
