RAMADAN MUBARAK!

Posted March 17, 2024

From the evening of March 10 until the evening of April 9 this year, Muslims will be celebrating Ramadan. During this time, Muslims around the world will be fasting from sunrise to sunset to show their religious faith. At the end of each day, they celebrate by having a meal called an iftar.

The end of Ramadan is called Eid and is a time when fasting ends and a large feast and celebration is held.

Our John Galt community would like to wish all of our families observing-  Ramadan Mubarak &  Ramadan Kareem!

Local Ramadan observance likely to start March 12 - Barbados Today
