Treaties Recognition Week
Teachers and students continue to plan and participate in meaningful activities around Indigenous learning, such as Treaties Recognition Week (Nov.1-Nov.5). We have been sharing and responding to a wide variety of fiction and nonfiction Indigenous books, with content being integrated throughout many subject areas. In addition, during morning announcements students have been sharing Land Acknowledgements.
