Winter Walk Day (WWD) is an annual celebration of winter walking/wheeling that takes place on the first Wednesday of February.
This year WWD is February 2 and members of the Active and Safe Routes to School Committee (staff from City of Guelph, School Boards and Wellington-Dufferin Student Transportation Services) will be out in the Ken Danby Public School/Holy Trinity neighbourhood handing out walk to school stickers and Planet Bean vouchers to students who are walking/wheeling to school.
Staff will be following provincial/local COVID-19 public health guidelines when participating in WWD.
