If a student is working on a laptop or Desktop, and within the Chrome browser they will need to follow these steps to sign into Chrome:

If a student is working on a “home purchased’ Chromebook and they are having difficulty signing in, occasionally it may be that the  parent has logged in as the primary user or admin of the chromebook and thus the student cannot sign into UGcloud. Common Fixes for Logging into UGCloud

  1. Be sure to type in www.ugcloud.ca in the address bar of the browser. Do not use a bookmark as we have made some security changes.
  2. Try logging in using the Incognito feature in Chrome to log in.
  3. Before logging into UGCloud be sure that other user accounts are logged out of the Chrome browser.  To sign out of Chrome:
  • Tap the More menu (three vertical dots) on the top right of any webpage.
  • Tap Settings.
  • Tap your profile picture at the top of the Settings page.
  • Tap Sign out of Chrome.
