Sdg 16 Peace And JusticeBonjour tout le monde. Aujourd’hui c’est vendredi le 19 juin, 2020. Si le monde nous attend, qu’est-ce que nous allons le montrer? If the world is waiting for us, what are we going to show it?

Today, let’s look at the sixteenth and seventeenth Global Goals:
Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions and Partnerships for the Goals. Here’s a message from our school board that is working toward this goal:

Dear Parents, Guardians and Caregivers,

The Upper Grand District School Board is committed to disrupting and addressing systemic racism and oppression in all of its forms. We are committed to making sure the work we do is fully transparent and accountable to all Upper Grand students, staff, families, and stakeholders.
If you are a racialized student or the parent, guardian or caregiver of a racialized student or student living in the margins, please take a moment to complete this survey by June 24th or attend the google meet (poster attached: Let’s Talk About Racism Student Poster) on June 24th at 2:00. https://forms.gle/wqSMxNdGuSvG1dPJ8

As an educational community we have a responsibility to identify and describe racism and then work to dismantle it. We need to hear from you.

Thank you.
