Thursday, June 25th – Morning Announcements

Posted June 25, 2020

Bonjour tout le monde. Aujourd’hui c’est jeudi le 25 juin, 2020. Si le monde nous attend, qu’est-ce que nous allons le montrer? If the world is waiting for us, what are we going to show it?

Today, let’s get ready for summer! While many people’s summer plans might look different this year, there are still opportunities to get outside and enjoy the warm weather and longer days. We hope you’ll get outside, read a book or two under a tree, and spend some time by one of Guelph’s rivers. And then tell us all about your summer adventures in September!

Every year, there are many volunteers who help make King George an amazing place to learn and grow! Today, we’d like to highlight the families who helped make graduation special for our Grade 8s:

Janet Morton – with the flowers and the Secret Sendoff (lights)
Sean LeBlanc – with the baby photo/grad photo slideshow
Andrea Fitzgerald – with the “Grad Lives Here” sign, the Together Apart Collage, and the Yearbook
Stephanie Greenall- making the Grad cap card that was included in the bag
Michael Richardson & Jenniffer Porritt – hosting the sign in lights
Kristen Bruce and Jessie Davis – coordinating teacher messages
Jen MacLeod – coordinating the grad efforts

Take a photo or write a comment, then tweet it @kinggeorgeps or send it to [email protected]

Have a great day, King George!
