Weekly Update!
We had a great week! Friday was a spirit day and it was great to see all the blue and gold! A grade 7 student in M. Larose’s class won our first Question de la Semaine and we’ll have another question this week. We also had a School Council meeting. Many thanks to everyone who took the time to attend the virtual meeting and especially to those who have agreed to serve in a more formal way: Leslie Fisher and Scott McRoberts (co-chairs); Jennifer Donahue and Karen Arnold (co-treasurers) and Erica Scime (secretary). The Equity, Diversity and Inclusion subcommittee (they’re working on a new name) will continue to meet this year and they welcome new participants. Meeting details for both the main School Council meeting as well as subcommittee meetings will be posted on the school website prior to each meeting.
This week coming is a busy week with some important special days to mark: Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope, Orange Shirt Day and Rowan’s Law Day. We will be learning about each of these important days throughout the week in various ways.
