Alleged Online Threats

Dear École King George Families,
I am writing to inform you of an alleged online threat made by an individual towards our school. The individual who has allegedly made this threat has been identified and Guelph Police were immediately contacted and are investigating.
We understand that such reports are concerning. We take every incident of threats such as this very seriously and work with police to investigate each one thoroughly to bring those responsible to account. We will continue to share updates with families, as soon as possible.
I understand that these incidents are upsetting to all. If students need any support, please reach out to me. Support is available.
