Tuesday, April 21st – Morning Announcements

Posted April 21, 2020

Bonjour tout le monde. Aujourd’hui c’est mardi le 21 avril, 2020. Si le monde nous attend, qu’est-ce que nous allons le montrer? If the world is waiting for us, what are we going to show it?

This week, let’s show we know ourselves. Another part of Self-Regulation is persevering and making an effort with a challenge. Sometimes, our classwork can be challenging; sometimes we find a challenge somewhere else. This week in the Virtual Learning Commons there is an EGG DROP CHALLENGE! Perhaps you’ll choose to make an effort with that STEM challenge this week.

From Mme Kristiansen: We had some excellent creators and inventors for the Rube Goldberg Stem Challenge last week. In the junior division Zoe wowed us with her creations. Honorable mention goes to Maddy, Charlie, Findley and Isla who also shared their impressive inventions! In the primary division Maelle and Finnley both came up with fantastic creations. Way to go! Go to the virtual library site, https://sites.google.com/ugcloud.ca/kgvirtuallearningcommons/home to see the videos and pictures of our amazing and imaginative creators.

Also for grades K to 3, Forest of Reading Friday starts this week. Check out our virtual library site on Friday to see what is happening.

Have you worked on your own challenge? Take a photo or write a comment, then tweet it @kinggeorgeps or send it to [email protected]

Have a great day, King George!
