Welcome back to the new school year!

For the first 8 days of school, the UG Wellness Works team will be sharing information with students and staff at their school and on social media.

NEW KISS & RIDE STARTING WEDNESDAY!

We realize that many parents will want to be present to support their children on their first day of school, both at arrival and dismissal.

Our new Kiss & Ride will officially begin Wednesday. Look for more information tomorrow about the logistics, including how drop-off and pick-up will work.

The purpose of the Kiss & Ride is to provide a safe, supervised, and efficient way for parents to drop off and pick up their children. Students will enter and exit through the Intermediate Doors, where they will be greeted and supervised by adults.

We know there are lots of new routines to learn, and we appreciate everyone's patience and cooperation as we get things up and running!

We are looking forward to seeing everyone in the yard tomorrow morning!

Elementary Registration is Sept. 1–4, 2026

Are you new to the Upper Grand District School Board? Elementary Registration for the 2026-27 school year takes place September 1-4, 2026, at all UGDSB elementary schools.

Keep these quick tips in mind:
- Only new students to the UGDSB need to register. If your child attended last year or registered during the winter 2026 JK/SK window, you do not need to re-register.
- Find which school your child is eligible to attend by using the online UGDSB School Locator.
