We are currently seeking public input on Policy 518 - Students with Life-Threatening Medical Conditions.

This policy conveys the board’s commitment to supporting students with prevalent medical conditions, such as asthma, anaphylaxis, diabetes and epilepsy, to ensure they have full access to school in a safe, inclusive, and healthy environment. This includes fostering well-being and empowering students to manage their medical needs to the best of their ability.

To review the draft documents and provide feedback, visit the UGDSB website: https://www.ugdsb.ca/o/ugdsb/page/policy-518-students-with-life-threatening-medical-conditions

Arthur Public School is excited to host our Carnival for a Cure on Thursday, September 18th, in support of the Terry Fox foundation. All funds raised will go directly to cancer research through the Terry Fox cancer foundation. You will receive a notice shortly from your child's classroom teacher containing information about the upcoming spirit week and the Carnival for a Cure/Meet the Teacher night. This year we are attempting something new with ticket  sales.  For a limited time, Wednesday, September 10 to Friday, September 12, you will be able to purchase tickets for the carnival through the Arthur Public School cash online. If you miss this brief 3-day window, you can still buy tickets at the door  with cash.  Tickets are 10 for $5.00. Tickets can be used for a game, a raffle, or a coffee. Next week, your child's classroom teacher will send home an envelope containing the tickets you have pre-ordered.

Thank you for your continued support.
