Dear Families,

We apologize for the confusion regarding the skating fee that was previously communicated. The price shared was incorrect.

Any payments that have already been made will be refunded through School Cash Online in the coming days. Please note that there is no longer a fee for skating.

We do ask that you continue to return the blue permission forms to the school so students may participate.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We appreciate your support and look forward to a fun skating experience for our students.

Sincerely,
Tracy Matthews

A yellow graphic that says coping with stress
Some stress can motivate us to complete things and help us at times. Too much stress, on the other hand, can be problematic and have overall negative impacts on our thinking, our bodies and our performance.
Start conversations about what stress is and how it feels.
When you’re overwhelmed, try naming your feelings and explaining the strategy you’re using to cope.
Activity: Take three slow, deep breaths from the lower belly. Inhale through the nose and exhale slowly through the mouth. Try this before meals, at bedtime, or before activities that might feel stressful.
Championing Health and Well being: Did you know? According to the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) prolonged stress increases the risk of mental-health issues like anxiety or depression, and physical problems such as headaches, muscle tension, digestive issues, fatigue, sleep problems, and even cardiovascular risks (2025)
