The Ontario Traffic Council’s School Crossing Programs Committee is hosting a province-wide drawing contest to celebrate School Crossing Guard Appreciation Week.
Between now and March 31, 2026, students are invited to submit their artwork.
This year School Crossing Guard Appreciation Week will be celebrated June 1 to 5, 2026. Winners of this contest will have their original artwork featured on thank you cards that will be given out during School Crossing Guard Appreciation Week.
The theme for the contest is Celebrating our School Crossing Guards. Students aged 4 to 14 years old who have an interest in art and in expressing their gratitude for their school crossing guards are invited to participate.
How to Participate:
Each student may submit one drawing.
Submissions should be emailed to traffic@otc.org along with the student's first name, age, school, municipality, and contact information
