June is an important month across the UGDSB. At Centre Peel, we work hard to help everyone understand and embrace the values that all people, from students, to staff, to visitors, to family members, have the right to feel safe, known, heard and that they belong. One of the things the UGDSB does to help make people feel included across the system is to fly the pride flag at each school. As in years past, we fly the flag to help people know that human rights matter and that all people should be respected and treated like one of the family, just like we try to do in our own school.
