National AccessAbility Week (NAAW) is approaching. This year NAAW will be celebrated between May 31 to June 6, 2026, and is using the theme “Building a strong, accessible Canada.”

NAAW takes place annually and is an opportunity to mark the important contributions made by Canadians with disabilities, and to put a spotlight on the leadership of those who work tirelessly to make Canada more accessible and inclusive.

On June 3, 2026, students and staff across the UGDSB are invited to wear red shirts to participate in Red Shirt Day of Action for Accessibility and Inclusion. This call to action is an opportunity to improve accessibility and inclusion for Canadians living with disabilities.
