School next week
Dear OC Families,
You likely have heard that there is a change to schooling during the week of January 4-8. All classes except Ms. Neary’s class will be moving to remote learning for this week. Student’s in Ms. Neary’s class will continue attending school during this week (and buses will be running for these students).
For all other classes:
- Teachers will be posting schedules and work for students to get ‘set up’ on Monday.
- Synchronous (live video) sessions with teachers will start on Tuesday, and run every day after that. Schedules and instructions for this will be posted in Google classrooms.
- If you cannot access your Google classroom, or struggle with this, please contact your child’s teacher (all email contacts are on our website)
- Schedules for online learning will be the same as our usual daily schedule:
Learning block 1: 8:55-10:35
Break: 10:35-11:15
Learning block 2: 11:15-12:55
Break: 12:55-1:35
Learning block 3: 1:35-3:15
On January 11, all students will resume in-person learning as usual.

Note: Due to our supply, we may not be able to accommodate all technology requests, and are limited requests right now to one per family. Pickup for the borrowed technology will be held on January 31st.
Please check in with your child’s teacher on Monday morning though Google classroom (or email if you cannot access this). Teachers will be posting a schedule for the week and will be taking the day to clarify any questions families might have.
