Supporting Caregivers with Math at Home
Caregivers have access to the UGDSB Games and Activities that Support Mathematical Thinking website. This website includes information about mindsets for math and the importance of math play, as well as games for Primary, Junior & Intermediate-aged children.
TOYBOX – Free, evidence-based activities on the subject of Numbers (as well as letters and wellness) to support caregivers with children ages 2-8 years old. New “no-prep” activities are added to the website each month.
MathUP – “Sum It Up” PDFs can be downloaded and shared with caregivers so they know what their child has been working on in their math learning. There is a Sum It Up PDF for each lesson.
