School Council 2023/2024 and PIC Event
September 25th 2023 is our first School Council Meeting at 7pm
Nomination Forms for school council positions will continue to be available by contacting the school or on our school website. If you wish to nominate yourself or another individual for a position as Chair, Co-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer or General Member. Submit the nomination form to [email protected] before to 3pm Sept. 25th or bring your form to the meeting. At our first we will determine if an election is required or if positions will be acclaimed. Childcare is available!

Inspiring Engagement with Parents & School Councils – UGDSB PIC invites you to its fall event!
The UGDSB’s Parent Involvement Committee (PIC) is inviting parents/guardians to join them at the free PIC event on October 25, 2023. Whether parents are currently part of a school council or are looking to become more involved in their child’s school, this opportunity is a great way to learn, discuss and share with each other. Topics will include leading an effective school council, fundraising, communication and secondary school parent council. This free event is in-person and will include dinner, information from PIC and two breakout sessions.
